Bet Goodwin AML Policy: How We Keep Every Transaction Clean
We take financial crime prevention seriously. Our anti-money laundering controls cover every account, deposit, and withdrawal processed on the platform.
AML Policy
How Bet Goodwin detects and prevents money laundering across all transactions.
Anti-money laundering compliance sits at the core of how Bet Goodwin operates. We are required under applicable law to detect, prevent, and report any activity that may indicate money laundering or the financing of illegal activity. Our AML program is reviewed at least annually and updated whenever regulations change, guidance is revised, or new risk patterns emerge.
Every deposit and withdrawal is screened against transaction monitoring thresholds set by our compliance team. USD payments via Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, and other accepted methods are logged and analyzed for unusual patterns - for instance, multiple small deposits in a short window that collectively breach our internal reporting limit. Crypto transactions through TRON are subject to blockchain analytics checks, which flag wallet addresses linked to illicit activity before a withdrawal is approved and processed.
Customer due diligence is mandatory for all accounts. When you open an account, we collect government-issued identity documents and proof of address. For higher-value activity or accounts that cross specific thresholds, we require additional evidence of source of funds. This may include bank statements, payslips, or documentation related to a business or investment. We do not apologize for asking: these checks protect honest players and the platform from exposure to criminal proceeds.
Where suspicion of money laundering is identified, we are legally obligated to file a Suspicious Activity Report with the relevant financial intelligence unit. We cannot inform the account holder that a report has been submitted. Accounts under review may be temporarily restricted until our internal investigation concludes. Cooperation with our verification team is the fastest path to resolution, and most cases are closed within five business days.
Anti-Money Laundering
How Bet Goodwin detects, prevents and reports financial crime
Bet Goodwin operates a formal Anti-Money Laundering program built on a risk-based framework. Every deposit and withdrawal is screened by automated monitoring tools calibrated to flag activity that falls outside normal behavioral patterns. When a flag is triggered, a member of our compliance team reviews the account manually before any further action is taken. We assess factors including deposit frequency, total volume over rolling periods, sudden shifts in preferred payment methods and the geographic origin of funds.
Identity verification is mandatory for all players and must be completed before any withdrawal is approved. Standard requirements include a valid government-issued photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three months. In cases where the risk rating of an account is elevated, we also request source-of-funds documentation to support the review. Bet Goodwin accepts Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, AstroPay, ecoPayz, Maestro and TRON. Crypto transactions via TRON are run through blockchain analytics to check for links to flagged wallet addresses.
When the compliance team determines that a transaction or pattern of transactions meets the threshold for suspicion, a Suspicious Activity Report is submitted to the relevant financial intelligence unit. During an investigation, account activity may be restricted and withdrawals held temporarily. Players are not informed when a report has been filed, because doing so would constitute tipping-off under applicable financial crime statutes.
Staff who handle customer accounts or payment processing complete AML training at onboarding and at least annually thereafter. Training covers red-flag recognition, escalation procedures and record-keeping obligations. All identity documents and transaction histories are retained for no fewer than five years in line with standard financial crime prevention requirements.
KYC Requirements
What we need from you, why we ask, and how fast verification clears.
Before your first withdrawal clears, we verify your identity under UKGC standards. Most accounts are approved within 24 hours of a complete document submission.
Sign up with a valid email address, a secure password, and your basic personal details - full name, date of birth, and country of residence. These must match the documents you upload later.
Upload a current government-issued photo ID: passport, driver's license, or national identity card. The document must be undamaged and fully legible, showing your name and date of birth clearly. Expired documents are rejected automatically.
A utility bill, bank statement, or official government letter dated within the last 90 days confirms your residential address. It must display your full name and home address. PO Box addresses are not accepted.
Visa or Mastercard holders may need to submit a card photo with the middle eight digits masked. Deposits made via Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, or TRON follow provider-level checks, which we cross-reference against your account details.
Accounts with high deposit volumes or specific transaction patterns may be asked for source-of-funds evidence: recent payslips, a 90-day bank statement, or a signed letter from a qualified accountant. This step is applied selectively, not routinely.
Once all documents pass review, your account is fully verified and withdrawals process without further holds. You receive an email confirmation, and standard reviews complete within one business day.
Log in, open the Verification tab, and upload documents directly. Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, and PDF, up to 10 MB per file.
Send scanned copies to our compliance team from the email registered to your account. Sending from your registered address speeds up the matching process considerably.
Our agents are available around the clock to confirm which documents apply to your account, walk you through each step, and escalate queries to the compliance team directly.
AML Procedures
A clear outline of the checks and controls that keep every account secure
Every new account at Bet Goodwin goes through standard Customer Due Diligence before any withdrawal is processed. We collect and verify full legal name, date of birth, and residential address against government-issued identity documents. For accounts where cumulative deposits reach $2,000 within a rolling 30-day window, we apply Enhanced Due Diligence, which may include source-of-funds documentation and a brief account review conducted by our compliance team.
Our compliance team monitors transactions continuously using automated screening tools that flag patterns inconsistent with a customer's stated activity. A single crypto deposit above $1,000 via TRON or a cluster of three or more rapid transfers across different payment methods within 24 hours will trigger a manual review. All channels we support, including Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, AstroPay, Maestro, and ecoPayz, are screened separately against our internal threshold matrix. No payment method bypasses these checks.
Where a review identifies suspicious activity, the case is escalated to our Money Laundering Reporting Officer within one business day. If the MLRO determines that a Suspicious Activity Report is warranted, it is filed with the relevant financial intelligence unit promptly, with no tip-off to the customer during that process. Accounts under active investigation are suspended from withdrawals until the review concludes.
All customer records, transaction logs, and due-diligence documents are retained for a minimum of five years from account closure. Staff involved in account management receive annual AML training, and our policies are reviewed at least once per calendar year to reflect any changes in applicable guidance. Customers with questions about a specific account review can reach us by live chat, email, or phone.
Sanctions Lists
How Bet Goodwin screens accounts against global sanctions databases.
Every account at Bet Goodwin is checked against multiple sanctions databases before a deposit is processed and on an ongoing basis thereafter. Sanctions screening is a legal requirement, not an optional layer of due diligence. Regulated operators must verify that no funds flow to or from individuals and entities that governments have designated as high-risk, subject to asset freezes, or prohibited from accessing financial services.
We cross-reference customer details against the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list, the UN Security Council Consolidated List, the EU Financial Sanctions Files, and HM Treasury's Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) list. These databases are updated continuously - sometimes multiple times a day - so our systems pull the latest data on every transaction rather than relying on weekly batch checks. Any name, address, date of birth, or identification number flagged by these sources triggers an immediate review.
When a potential match is identified, the relevant account is placed on hold while our compliance team carries out a manual assessment. False positives are common given name similarities across different regions, and we resolve those cases quickly with minimal disruption to the customer. Confirmed matches result in account suspension, refusal of funds, and mandatory reporting to the appropriate authority. We do not permit partial workarounds or exceptions to this process. Funds associated with sanctioned parties are handled strictly in accordance with applicable law, which may include freezing assets and filing a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) with FinCEN.
